Ronald McDonald Family Room’s offer a welcoming environment to make caring for a sick baby or child just that little bit easier. Caring for a sick child in hospital can take an enormous toll on family members. Our Family Room is somewhere for carers and siblings of sick children and babies to retreat and take time out. Carers may take the time to grab a shower-refresh and relax; get some rest & take the opportunity to recharge; watch TV or browse the internet; catch up on some laundry. Visiting siblings can enjoy our play area; perhaps, enjoy our complimentary beverage bay or share a meal; friendly face or opportunity to take a quiet moment. Minimum commitment 2 shifts per month over 6 months. References will be required. E-mail address is essential. All information will be via this media.
