Logo for Liverpool Volunteer Resource Centre

A local charity, based in Liverpool, that provides social support for people with disabilities, is searching for Volunteers to help at their twice weekly Social Support Group.

The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 9am and 2pm, and participates in activities that allows them to learn new skills, reduce their isolation, enhance their quality of life and provide their carers with some much needed time off. They would love some Volunteers that would like to assist and spend some time with the attendees.

Most of the group are self reliant, so you would be assisting with activities like baking, serving lunches, art and craft and generally helping them to develop, maintain and support their capacity for independent living and social interaction.

If you have skills with running particular activities and/or would feel confident introducing new interests to the Centre, they would love to have your input in this capacity also.

This is a very relaxed and casual atmosphere, so if you would like to be a part of this wonderful organisation, who do wonderful things for their community, we would love to hear from you!

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
