Our Steam Locomotive Engine Cleaners clean and prepare the Puffing Billy Railway**s fleet of heritage Steam Locomotives every day. It`s hard physical work, yet vital and rewarding, and the first step in the career of Steam Locomotive Driver. Puffing Billy Railway is located in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges (approx. 40 kms from the Melbourne GPO) and operates every day of the year except Christmas Day. Access is by a regular train or an easy drive (free car parking is available).Volunteers also receive a discount on purchases of most retail and food items.
