We are looking to recruit a LGBTI identifying volunteer in the Warrnambool area to befriend a socially isolated yet delightful older gay man in his 70s. We'd ask you to catch up a minimum of 2 hours a fortnight at a time that suits you both for activities such as coffees, walks, drives or watching movies when safe to do so during COVID-19. If you would prefer you can catch up via phone or email for the time being. We provide all online training, induction, expense reimbursement and ongoing support with Switchboard's volunteer community as part of the national Community Visitors Scheme.
