The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Rotary Club of Kew, Fair Trade & Gift Shop.

Duties include but not limited to the below:

Store Management:

• Oversee daily operations
• General store maintenance (cleanliness and tidiness)
• Manage retail volunteers in accordance with operational requirements
• Organise roster in accordance with operational requirements
• Style shop stock
• Organise and manage promotional stock
• Style windows coordinating with current promotion
• Initiate proposal to improve business performance
• Manage stock and general upkeep of stockroom

Volunteer Management:

• Train retail volunteers
• Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with the current COVIDSafe Plan and OH&S policy
• Enforce standard store policy and regulations
• Enforce standard company policy and regulations
• Enforce volunteer compliance with store and company policy
• Orientate and coach new volunteer team members
• Recognise and appraise job results
• Recommend corrective actions to maintain volunteer’s conduct
• Monitor and liaise with management regarding volunteer members' performance and KPIs
• Mediate and resolve conflict among volunteer members
• Contributes to team effort
