Blue Door is a drop-in centre within Ainslie Village that provides support such as free nutritious breakfasts and lunch, haircuts, hygiene supplies, clothing and furniture vouchers, as well as life skills, information, advice, advocacy and referrals. Blue Door is open to anyone in need and has over 200 ‘drop ins’ each month.

In your role as Delivery Volunteer, you will be asked to/your tasks will include:

• Pick up empty container and vehicle from Rheinberger Centre • Pick up meals from supplier and deliver to Blue Door • Return vehicle to Rheinberger Centre and store empty container to storage at Rheinberger • Compliance with organisational policies and procedures, training requirements, legislation, health and safety, diversity and a commitment to quality systems and continuous improvement

We need to have reasonable confidence that members, volunteers and employees, particularly those who have access to vulnerable persons we are assisting, are of suitable character and do not expose these persons to unacceptable risk. Therefore, volunteers may be required to have a WWVP Card. If you don't have one, we will help you apply for it.
