Competency using MYOB or Xero software is essential as this role includes recording the financial transactions of the company, producing quarterly reports including end of year financial statements and quarterly BAS returns.

On the job training will be provided by a practicing accountant. Our organisation is quite small, has good facilities, is well managed and provides an interesting and friendly workplace. Volunteer work can be done either during or after business hours including weekends, offsite and some onsite. Work hours are flexible.

Our activities include publishing Buddhist Teachings, conducting courses and classes in Buddhism and Buddhist meditation, running children's classes in Buddhism and Chan painting classes. We are a Regional Centre of the World Fellowship of Buddhists.

Our philanthropic activities include supporting an orphanage and trade school in Bangladesh for approximately 500 children and raising funds for a local women's refuge.
