To work with the team rostered on to ensure staff, volunteers and patrons remain Covdi Safe whilst maintaining a friendly and smooth-running club, specifically to -

  • To Meet & Greet Patrons. Ask each patron if they are feeling well  or if they have recently travelled to known ‘hot-spots’. Patrons exhibiting symptoms or have recently been in ‘hot-spots’ must be asked not to enter
  • Request Patrons to use hand sanitiser before entering the club. Ensure hand sanitiser is available throughout the club
  • Ask members and guests to register using the Covid-19 QR Code or if required assist them to register or direct them to the bar for bar staff to register them
  • Ensure  Covid safe signs are displayed at the entrance, including the “We Prefer Cards” sign is displayed. Advise patrons that using  tap and go would be appreciated
  • Monitor patron numbers in designated areas (bistro, auditorium, outdoor smoking  and gaming room)  do not breach the 4 square metre rule
  • Request patrons to not stand up drinking or mingle between groups. Groups must not exceed 10 patrons at any table(s). Patrons must remain seated unless ordering at the bar or moving about the club
  • If required advise patrons  dancing is not allowed, that vocalists must be least 3m from patrons and group singing is not allowed
  • Ensure patrons waiting to enter, waiting at the bar or at the ATM do not breach the 1.5m rule
  • Wipe down gaming machines, ATM and Square terminal after use, using soapy water and non-abrasive cloth. Apply water to the terminal sparingly.
  • Sanitise toilets as required by use of disinfectant spray
  • Wipe down pool cues and balls after use
