RSPCA NSW’s Eurobodalla Volunteer Branch is an energetic, dedicated group of animal-loving volunteers on the NSW South Coast (Batemans Bay/Moruya) who have combined their skills to rehome hundreds of cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and chickens – over 160 animals in 2020 so far!

In order to meet the continuing need in our community, we are inviting expressions of interest from people with the time and commitment in the Eurobodalla region to help the branch’s Canine Coordinator get these animals the care and loving homes they need.

Tasks include: • Meeting and assessing dogs for surrender • Completing all required surrender and adoption paperwork as legally required • Transporting dogs to and from foster carers and vet appointments • Photographing adoption-ready dogs for online advertisement and social media • Following all RSPCA NSW relevant policies and procedures, including Work Health and Safety

Basic Requirements: • Knowledge and experience in handling dogs of different ages, sizes and breeds • C-class NSW drivers’ licence • Own a car and willingness to use own vehicle for dog transport (reimbursements for fuel available) • Computer literacy • Administrative skills • Ability to lift over 10kg • A love of interacting with both people and animals
