Paws for A Purpose are a young national charity (< 5 years old) with the mission of helping people and pets in need. Our first major project is an ambitious effort to stop “Parvo” (Canine Parvovirus), a terrible disease that kills puppies, and that especially targets the pets of people who are disadvantaged. We also are working on programs to help the Homeless with their pets and also The Elderly with their pets.

Our previous Director of Philanthropy has stepped down due to a heavy workload in her corporate job and we are now looking for a new Director who is experienced in fundraising and the philanthropic sector, who is passionate, and interested to help design a Strategic Plan for Development, to create a Development Team and initiate new fundraising initiatives.

As a young organisation our resources are limited but with strong leadership, healthy self-belief, and a robust network we are achieving good goals. We have been piloting a number of community programs and have several very interesting further initiatives soon to launch.
