Currently visiting at this Residential Aged Care home is happening virtually through phone calls and letter writing. (Note- We are also looking forward to meeting in person once it is safe to do so). You will be matched to a resident keeping in mind your ability to speak a language, interests and your availability. Often volunteers share an interest which then provides opportunities for fun activities (and even outings when we are meeting in person!) Virtual visits can be spent doing such activities - reading a book, playing music, playing an online game, chatting and reminiscing, talking about a shared sporting team or looking at art together.
