Admin research volunteer with HammondCare Foundation

HammondCare is an aged care provider, supporting people in need, who are facing the hardest times life has to offer. Our HammondCare Foundation was established to help the organisation continue to grow and continue to improve care of the vulnerable and marginalized for many generations to come through various fundraising activities.

As a HammondCare Foundation volunteer, your tasks will include

  • Data entry and receipting on database management system
  • Reading through and checking proposals, grants and other materials
  • Helping on events e.g. packing bags, sourcing gifts and supporting the Event Coordinator
  • Research e.g. looking into potential grants online

You'll love this role if

  • You have strong computer skills in Microsoft office, including PowerPoint
  • Database experience, with knowledge of Salesforce an advantage
  • Good communication skills, written and oral

As a HammondCare Foundation volunteer, you'll be working at 207 Pacific Hwy, St Leonards (close to St Leonards train station and bus stops), on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for 1-2 hours each week. We would be happy to discuss with you the hours and agree to a suitable start and finish time, between 9:30-4:30pm. Ideally you will be available for 12 months or longer.

We'll provide training as well as ongoing support. Successful applicants will be required to complete a police background check, which we'll arrange. You will be required to have a flu vaccination.
