The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Summerhill Park Kindergarten Inc.

The volunteer will be working with an educator and co educator in the three year old program. The hours we require a volunteer to assist, would be 3 hours:- -Tuesday's 3.00pm till 4.30pm (1.5 hours) -Friday's 9.30am till 11.00am (1.5 hours)

They would be starting from Tuesday 14th July.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Creating a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for a child with additional needs in three year old kindergarten
• General child care and supervision including:
• Supervising & creating a safe environment socially, physically, emotionally
• Encourage turn-taking, waiting and thereby friendship
• Encourage following routine
• Encourage participation in age-appropriate activities, play-based learning and developmental play as provided by the educator
