Reporting to the Executive Officer of Blind Sports Australia, the Marketing & Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading the delivery and evaluation of the BSA brand, marketing campaigns, and ambassador program at a National level. In addition to this the role is also responsible for driving community awareness and engagement across all BSA member organisations.

This role would be suited to a strong marketing / communications / partnership generalist but with specific experience managing brand, fundraising and strategic partner campaigns and engaging a diverse range of stakeholders nationally.

As a creative, you will be able to think “big picture”, identify opportunities and then develop and implement well thought out strategies. You will have worked in a role previously which is a blend of thinking and doing, and will be comfortable managing a range of priorities including brand development and partnership execution. You will have managed complex operating environments, and worked collaboratively with both partners and member organisations.

Preferably you will have had some experience managing or overseeing a successful ambassador program.

In return for your expertise you will be provided with the opportunity to support the blind and vision impaired community whilst also working closely with an Executive Officer and Board. In additon to this, there is the potential for this volunteer position to become part-time subject to the availability of funding. Any decisions with respect to the status of the position will be made by the BSA Board at such time that funding becomes available and / or the scope of the position is reviewed.
