SES Local Manager
Donnybrook SESDonnybrook SES volunteers provide a vital community service by responding to storms, floods and searches. The Local Manager role is appointed for 3 years and ensures the operational readiness of the unit, manages and mentors SES personnel and co-ordinates emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- ensure the operational readiness of the SES unit
- management of personnel, equipment and assets
- mentor SES members
- co-ordinate SES emergency response
- participate in the regional SES leadership team
Essential Criteria
- high level communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
- well-developed leadership skills
- ability to manage financial, human and physical resources
- willingness to contribute to a community-centred emergency service
