As the national peak body representing those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) needs robust, knowledgeable and dedicated committees to inform submissions, projects and policy.

FECCA has opened all 6 committees for nominations from within and outside of FECCA’s membership. Each committee should be reasonably representative of Australia and its diversity including community representatives, individuals with lived experience and service providers.

This is your opportunity to influence and shape FECCA’s policy and advocacy for the next 2 years. As a committee member you will meet other likeminded people from across Australia, advise policy in a meaningful way, support the development of an informed policy positions, advocate on behalf of people from CALD backgrounds and receive support and expertise from the committee chair.
