You will be tasked with assisting people in the community to do their own lodgement of taxes online. The role is based out of the Big Yellow Umbrella office in Narellan and appointments will be either face to face or done via zoom through the offices computer system. This is a great opportunity to help others who may struggle with using technology to fill out forms or have difficulty navigating websites. Although, you do not need accounting skills, familiarity with filling out your own tax returns is going to be a big help. Training is provided as part of this role and forms an excellent way of gaining experience in communication skills, technical competence with computers and working with disadvantaged people.
