Training and Awards Alignment Manager

P2S Rugbyworks

You will predominantly be ensuring that all P2S RUGBYWORKS staff; Administration and Coaches are compliant to fulfill their roles i.e. Working with Children Checks, Police clearances, First Aid Qualified and Youth Mental Health First Aid training and SmartRugby WA accredited.

P2S RUGBYWORKS also is a Duke of Edinburgh International Awards Unit, through AwardsWA so will be required to match activities that are conducted try to meet the Awards criteria and help mentor the participants within the program to gain the relevant awards.

The key responsibilities include:

Management of P2S RUGBYWORKS Inc. as an Awards WA, Award Centre for Duke of Edinburgh International Award. On-going alignment of P2S RUGBYWORKS Course Content with Duke of Edinburgh International Award achievement criteria. Coordination of Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Courses to ensure P2S RUGBYWORKS Coaches compliance. Provision of First Aid Training to P2S RUGBYWORKS volunteers and enrolled youngsters Investigation and evaluation of other relevant courses and accreditation you believe would benefit the organisation and its staff. Work with Awards WA on funding/grants for participants in the programme. Manage relationships with any third-party providers of staff training and accreditation. Follow P2S RUGBYWORKS risk assessment process, Health and Safety and Safeguarding Procedures. Report against Program objectives to demonstrate relevant outcomes. Participate in P2S RUGBYWORKS team meetings and training sessions as required by P2S RUGBYWORKS Executive team members. Liaise with the CEO, Director of Operations and Head of Coaching on any changes that may be required to maintain staff compliance with prescribed policies. Any other duties deemed necessary by the CEO or Director of Operations. *Due to the nature of the role, you may be asked to assist during evenings and weekends.

Skills and Personal Attributes: Good communication skills; patience and empathy when dealing with people. Ability to resolve conflict peacefully. Highly self-motivated to be able to work autonomously to achieve objectives. Must be an effective team member with sufficient flexibility and willingness to take on roles outside of job description. Ability to multitask. Be able to present themselves professionally to staff, volunteers and partners. *Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
