The Virtual Interviewer role involves assessing and meeting an organisation’s needs through the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers. Also, to assist volunteers to find suitable volunteer jobs in community organisations throughout Queensland.

Key responsibilities are:

• Interview and recruit volunteers via Microsoft Teams, ensuring both the volunteer and organisation are appropriately matched (e.g. location and availability), and follow up post placement. • Update VSC database with relevant volunteer and organisation information. • Liaise with member organisations to find and assess volunteering opportunities and requirements. • Maintain a strong partnership with member organisations, ensuring that volunteering information is current. • Complete follow-up activities post placement to ensure the service was successful. • Carry out duties in accordance with VSC policies and procedures.
