This role would be suitable for a sociable volunteer who enjoys the company of seniors.

Staff organise morning tea in the garden or courtyard and may call upon your assistance with set-up and encouraging residents to attend the activity.

The primary focus of this role is on conversing with residents to increase their sense of social connectedness.

Some residents are frail and have a cognitive impairment so need patience and understanding.
