Helping Hand Mawson Lakes is currently seeking an enthusiastic Social Support Volunteers to support residents to enhance their quality of life.

Whether you’re available for a couple of hours or more time, we’d love to hear from you.

There are many ways to volunteer and bring joy to our residents:

• Join for a regular walk outside
• Share your gardening knowledge and skills in our gardens
• Run cooking sessions to share your passion in the kitchen
• Perform or teach music, be it singing or instruments
• Come for a chat
• Bring your friendly pet for a visit
• Assist in the men’s shed
• Share your art and craft skills

It is required to undertake a National Police Check to volunteer in our residential care homes, this cost is covered by Helping Hand.

It is also a requirement to have had your 2021 seasonal influenza vaccination to enter a residential aged care facility.
