Vernal Pools
Conservation Volunteers Australia - AdelaideDiscovered in 2001, they were assessed to be of high wetland value, with significant flora and uncommon aquatic fauna. Prior to their discovery, they were used for agricultural practices and recreational activities - farming, grazing and even a golf driving range!
CVA volunteers have been engaged to help restore this unique site by addressing issues such as weed management, seed collection and reintroducing local plants.
PLEASE NOTE: It is also possible to meet on-site if that is easier for you, but please contact the office so we can confirm the exact meeting location and time.
