The Social Media Manager is to represent SportsUnited by building a social media presence across all 3 social media platforms that SportsUnited engage with (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).

Core Social Media Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with SportsUnited’s CEO, Website Manager, Fundraising Manager & Head Coaches to ensure all social media campaigns are consistent across the organisation.
  • Managing SportsUnited’s social media promotion campaigns
  • Developing high-quality novel written and visual content for each social media campaign.
  • Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
  • Monitoring SportsUnited’s brand on social media.
  • Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influences.
  • Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
  • Responding to comments on each account.
  • Oversee customer service provided via social media.
  • Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
  • Coaching employees company-wide on content creation best practices.
