A Homework Centre would love the help of some Volunteers to assist primary school aged students with their school homework and assignments.

About The Role:

• Assist students to complete homework, assignments and /or set reading
• Direct students and manage their behaviour
• Report any problems or concerns to the onsite Teachers
• Be a positive role model for the students
• Time commitment is Monday afternoons, 2.45pm-4pm, during school terms

About You:

• A desire to assist young people achieve the best out of their education
• Experience working with children a definite advantage, but not essential
• Ability to work in a sensitive manner with students from different cultures and backgrounds
• Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment
• Have a current Working With Children Check clearance

These children really need enthusiastic, energetic and positive role models, who can bring a sense of fun to their homework tasks. If you are passionate to see children learn and achieve their educational goals, we would love to hear from you!
