Opportunities to help the District Team or Units & their Unit Leaders. You will be an active member of the Darebin Girl Guides Team and participate in weekly & monthly meetings with other volunteers. You'll either provide support to the District Manager or a unit leader and provide confidential advice on financial matters as required.

You will work with the District Manager or Unit Leader to prepare annual budget estimates for income and expenditure based on the years plans.

You will accurately record all income transactions, bank all income on at least a fortnightly basis, and ensure that receipts are issued for income. You will ensure that all expenses are approved by the District Manager prior to being paid, ensure that receipts or invoices are kept for all expenses, pay all expenses promptly following approval of the District Manager and record all expense transactions.

You will provide monthly financial reports and provide updates as required.
