Storytelling Volunteer - Lifestory Program

    All potential volunteers are required to submit an application, attend a screening interview, obtain a police clearance (which BASScare carry out at no cost to yourself) provide referees and attend an onsite induction prior to being on boarded.

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of BassCare.

If you have a passion talking with others, keen to learn and explore what life was like for our clients, capture and share a persons life story or component thereof, please apply.

You will need to be prepared to visit and talk with our clients on a regular basis, document discussions, edit discussions/photos and information obtained, collate and summarise the information to produce a clients life story in either a written or digital story format.
Some story telling experience/skills preferred and or video and editing experience (if producing stories in a digital form). Ongoing short term commitment required with some flexibility in visiting times during the week at our onsite location in Canterbury.
