This is a wonderful opportunity to assist girls (5-18yrs) develop into adults and be involved in a large world wide organisation.

Enable young women and girls to grow into confident, self-respecting, responsible community members by volunteering as a Leader. You will be involved in setting and carrying out fun and creative activities in a safe environment for girls aged five - 17 years.

Females with great communication skills and a willingness to be part of a team will create a supportive environment for girls, making sure they have fun and learn life skills that develop their self-confidence and community responsibility. Program focuses on the Outdoors, Service to the community, Teamwork and Leadership Development. Part of an international organisation that was started over 100 years ago and is active in 146 countries around the world. The groups usually meet during the school term in a local hall for a few hours once a week after school. Throughout the year there will also be opportunities to assist and join in at special activities, events and camps outside the usual meeting time. A variety of volunteering opportunities are available including regular volunteer, Helper and Leader.

Training provided for regular volunteers. Training, uniform and resources provided for those willing to become a Helper or Leader. Cost of membership to the organisation $105 p.a.

Volunteers will require a Working with Children Check. Minimum age 18 years
