Join the Ballarat Cycle Classic 2020 Volunteering Team and have fun raising funds for Cancer Research!

The Ballarat Cycle Classic is the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute's largest annual fundraising event with 100% of rider registrations going directly to fund world-renowned cancer research projects at the Institute's Ballarat laboratories. This year, all funds raised will be directed towards the establishment of a new breast cancer research project.

With events to suit all ages and experience levels, the Cycle Classic is a fun, family-friendly event which also caters for the more experienced and serious cyclist. Distances range from the 6km Lake Walk/Run through to the new 100 mile/160km "Spud 100" Road Ride in honour of long-standing Cycle Classic ambassador Danny Frawley.

Volunteers are vital to the success of the event, with around 200 volunteers participating each year.

We have a need for the following:

• Road Marshalls on all courses
• Rest Stop attendants on all courses
• Village Hub support roles
• Raffle Ticket sales
• Rider encouragement and support
