To be successful in this volunteer role you will need to posses some previous experience with young people or tutoring/teaching. You will be required to help young people in a 'homework club' where we will have a mentor and tutor available each session.

The benefits to volunteering with Kulture Break are to see first hand the difference this organisation is having in the Canberra community and individual lives. Established in 2002, Kulture Break is an organisation committed to the wellbeing, transformation and empowerment of young people and the community. We do this by engaging them in a safe and active environment, using the performing arts and leadership development to empower and change live. With depression, anxiety, suicide, drug and alcohol abuse, social isolation and childhood obesity common in today’s society, our emphasis is on using early intervention measures that validate and affirm young people’s abilities and capacities. Our goal is for young people to believe in themselves and live life with purpose.
