Volunteer Mentor - 'Braking the Cycle' (PCYC Bundaberg)

The Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association (QPCYWA) is a community-based organisation concerned with the development of youth through the provision of sporting and recreational activities. The QPCYWA has established 54 Police-Citizens Youth Clubs (PCYCs) throughout the State and now has an active membership in excess of 73,000 members state-wide.

One of the many programs PCYC Queensland delivers is the Braking the Cycle program. Braking the Cycle aims to provide young people with increased employment opportunities, community connection and driver education.

To volunteer with PCYC you are required to hold a Department of Justice and Attorney General Volunteer Working with Children Check (Blue Card) prior to commencement. However, PCYC can assist with the application.

The successful applicant would be required to hold an Open Driver's Licence for 12 months.
