Vision Australia is a leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. We work in partnership with Australians who are blind or have low vision to help them achieve the possibilities they choose in life.

There are still many people who need help to use the Internet and learn essential digital skills.  Digital Mentors support people to build their confidence and skills to use digital technology.

Vision Australia has partnered with the Good Things Foundation and the Australian Government to run an exciting new program for our older clients.

The Be Connected program uses Digital Mentors to inspire clients to try using technology and support them through the first steps of using computers, mobile devices and the internet.

Skills & Attributes:  General technology skills and a basic understanding of the Internet; Enthusiasm, adaptability, patience and a good listener; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Work with people who are blind or have low vision.
