Hours: 15 hours, 3/12/2019 to 6/12/2019 Monday 2 December (launch night) 5.00pm – 8.30pm Tuesday 3 December 10.00am – 4.00pm Wednesday 4 December 10.00am – 4.00pm Thursday 5 December 10.00am – 4.00pm
The NDIS Services division comprises of Local Area Coordination (LAC) and Early Childhood Early Intervention services. The Brotherhood of St Laurence is a partner in the community delivering LAC and ECEI services in five areas across metropolitan Melbourne.
An exciting opportunity has become available to host gallery visitors who require assistance to navigate and access the Axiom: A Reimagined Reality art exhibition. The exhibition will feature the works of 50 Melbourne artists in celebration of the International Day of People with Disability.
To meet the selection criteria, candidate will require:
- Reliability and good communication skills; empathetic, patient
- Positive attitude towards working with people with disability
- Ability to work well with others and take instructions
- Desire to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to use initiative and be responsive in situations
- Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood
We are especially keen to involve people who:
- Can communicate in Auslan
- Have experience providing services to people with disability
