Vinnies Youth Gympie is seeking Volunteer Mentors who are looking to make a real positive impact on the lives of young people in the area.

The program is a new exciting mentoring experience, designed to help young people between the ages of 13-17 who may need some guidance or a positive role model in their lives.

As a Volunteer Mentor you will work as part of a close team with one other mentor taking a young person out of their home environment once a fortnight to develop skills, socialise, try new experiences and help them develop as a person, this could be taking them bowling, to a sports training session or even just going for a walk. You may also need to give them guidance and some appropriate emotional support should they need it.
