Clubs WA is the not-for-profit industry association for more than 900 licensed Western Australian community clubs, and works with the Government, private sector and public to strengthen the role of clubs within local communities and to ensure the clubs themselves remain viable.

The community, sport, and social club industry spreads to a quarter of the state’s population, with an active involvement in almost every town. The industry continues to grow, as does club membership and visitation by non club members. Collectively, Western Australian clubs form the largest membership-based not-for-profit group in the state with access to more than 320,000 members.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with editing the digital contents of our website. This volunteering work is suitable for first/second year Uni or TAFE students majoring in IT, Web Design, or PR and Marketing who are looking for volunteering experience that is relevant to their learned skillsets.

Required competencies:

• Fluent grammatical English
• Sound keyboarding skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good editing skills (proofing your own work before publication)

Desirable skills:

• Graphic/Wed design (we use Adobe In-Design)
• Proficient in Word document
• Experience in Wordpress/Content Management System (CMS)
