A Learning Club is a safe, learning environment which students attend out of normal school hours. Students have access to learning resources provided by the school.
You will work alongside a Learning Club Coordinator to support Primary School students at local schools

Embark on a role where you can:

• Encourage and support students to increase their self-confidence and further their personal development
• Liaise with The Smith Family Program Coordinator to make sure they are kept informed about the deliver of the Club; escalate all matters relating to student safety or wellbeing
• Support volunteer tutors with Learning Club activities as required e.g. developing session plans, tracking of resources and keeping attendance
• Assist students with resources provided to increase literacy and numeracy skills
• Assist with goal setting in collaboration with student and teachers
• Assist team members to promote duty of care and child protection policies with volunteer tutors
