Currently over 100,000 healthy and treatable cats and dogs are unnecessarily euthanased each year in Australian pounds and shelters. Most of these are stray cats from cities and towns. This is because how we currently manage them doesn’t reduce their numbers. During an innovative five year trial, we will assess humane methods for managing stray cats in cities and towns based on desexing. This is a large ambitious project with pledged financial and in-kind support from a range of private sector and charity partners. We need to develop formalised binding agreements between all parties to ensure the project is well supported and delivered as planned.

We are seeking someone who can work with the Executive Director and Chairperson to assess proposed project support agreements and assist with their completion.

Project partners include: 1. Charities providing cash funding and some in-kind resources 2. Corporate organisations providing in-kind resources/product and cash funding 3. Shire and city councils providing cash funding
