Volunteer Event Coordinator
SisterWorks Inc.Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct food tasting events on Fridays and/or Saturdays with migrant women
- Manage all event operations including transporting partner migrant women to and from event locations
- Collect and deliver orders to stores
- Train volunteers and migrant women for the food tasting event
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of SisterWorks Inc.
- Cross-cultural understanding and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Ability to handle the stress occurring sometimes in event management
Compulsory requirements:
- Current Working with Children Check or Police Check (if you do not have either of these, you can apply for one free of cost)
- Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license
