Volunteer Event Coordinator

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct food tasting events on Fridays and/or Saturdays with migrant women 
  • Manage all event operations including transporting partner migrant women to and from event locations
  • Collect and deliver orders to stores
  • Train volunteers and migrant women for the food tasting event

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of SisterWorks Inc.
  • Cross-cultural understanding and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to handle the stress occurring sometimes in event management

Compulsory requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Check or Police Check (if you do not have either of these, you can apply for one free of cost)
  • Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license
