A social enterprise, currently in its infinite stages, you will work with a small team of volunteers in the Co-op to support Burnie Community's House Purpose: To provide opportunities for people to: = realise their own potential. = cope with the normal stresses of life. = work productively and fruitfully. = connect and contribute to community The co-op will host a range of dry goods, fresh produce and cleaning/personal items and aims to: • reduce the amount of packaging used when purchasing food • reduce the carbon footprint for Shorewell and Burnie resident shoppers • provide a variety of products not normally available in the area • be cost effective for customers, • provide learning opportunities for volunteers • be community owned and driven.
