Bilingual CALD Community Engagement Volunteer - Volunteering Macarthur
Southwest Community TransportDuties include:
- Providing telephone support to CALD clients as required
- Providing culturally appropriate support during interactions with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) clients
- Filing, photocopying, archiving, scanning, telephone calls as required under the direction of various SWCT team members
- Human Resource activities as directed by the Operations Manager
- CALD community engagement project activities as directed by the CALD Community engagement officer
Essential Skills:
- Ability to speak, read and write in one or more of the aforementioned languages
- Cross cultural communication skills
- Ability to volunteer as a constructive team member
- Demonstrated administration skills relevant to SWCT
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to be self motivated and show initiative
- Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements with regard to working in an office
- Knowledge of the Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly, Fairfield and Liverpool Local Government Area
