Volunteers are needed to provide learning support and mentoring as part of the Homework Club running at Lakemba Public School, and located in the School as Community Centre (SaCC) in the grounds of the School.  This program targets disadvantaged children, particularly from refugee communities.  You will work with small groups of students to help them with homework set by the School. Children who finish early are encouraged to play a range of educational games.  A teacher from Lakemba Public School will be present, providing overall supervision and support to Mentors.  Mentors will be supervised and supported by the Facilitator of the SaCC.
