WANTED - Young, active, compassionate young people for the Vinnies Youth program
St Vincent de Paul Society TasmaniaVinnies Youth volunteers and members are wanted in Tasmania. The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation which aims to serve disadvantaged people. Vinnies Youth is the name given for young people who participate in the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Youth Program. In Tasmania Vinnies runs programs for young adults, high school and college students and Mini Vinnies in primary schools.
There are many exciting programs and activities for young people to be involved in with Vinnies. These programs and activities include Loui's van, Dining with Friends, One Night of Poverty, Homelessness Week, Mental Health Week, Youth Week, retreats and general events. The majority of Youth volunteers are aged between 15-25 years, with a small group of 18-25 year olds who have camp or leadership experience.
We are also looking for volunteers from UTAS to join a Young Adult volunteer group or to assist with the Loui’s Van UTAS run. Get into Vinnies Youth to have some fun and meet like-minded individuals while making a difference!
