    Volunteer Community Drivers are required Monday to Friday for morning or afternoon shifts or occasional full day outings as required. Volunteers must enjoy driving and hold current valid Driver’s Licence. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, willing to assist consumers in out of vehicles and work in a team environment.

    Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)

Are you a confident driver who will be comfortable transporting consumers to and from their homes?

A Volunteer Drivers is responsible for providing a reliable efficient transport service to our consumers, within the community sector. A driver is provided with a travel schedule and will pick up and drop back consumers to our community centres. A transport driver may also participate in driving Bene community consumers on daily outings.

This position requires a reliable attentive person that has knowledge of SA metropolitan areas. You will ensure consumers receive a safe, courteous and respectful on-board experience and you will always be mindful of the consumer’s health, wellbeing, cultural background.
