"Growing our World"- a children's garden program

Caulfield South Community House is fortunate enough to have a Community Garden attached to it's centre which the children have access to. Our child care groups on Monday, Thursday and Friday are seeking an enthusiastic person who enjoys gardening and working with children to develop a program that engages the children in the garden for one hour each week on alternating Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. The program can include teaching children how to make something in/from the garden (i.e. "grass heads), which plants are which and what they can be used for, and how plants grow and their different parts.
