Administration Assistant, Revenue Assurance & Assistance Team

UnitingCare's Revenue Assurance and Assistance team delivers high quality, efficient and effective customer/third party invoicing, receipting/allocation, reconciliation/claiming and customer service activities. This administration assistance role will support the team with various tasks such as correspondence mail outs, filing, customer service phones calls and client database updates.

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities: • Undertake a range of administrative duties which require a high degree of judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity in the performance of the work and directly support the outcomes of the department • Collation, preparation, distribution and filing of documents as required • Scanning letters & upload onto system • Manage Return to Sender mail • Photocopying, binding and distribution of handbooks, promotional materials, operational guides and manuals as required • Assist in the maintenance of the filing and retrieval of invoices and other business documentation as required • Maintaining a tidy and welcoming workspace • Utilise Microsoft Office and/or other business software, to prepare reports and other documentation as necessary • Provide administrative assistance, as required, to the work team • Work within the policies and procedures of UnitingCare and the

Skills, Qualifications or experience required for the role: • Demonstrated ability to apply professional knowledge in the delivery of support to services operating in the delivery of support to services operating in the community sector • Knowledge of computing concepts and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Software, in particular Excel and Work and/or other business software • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to deal with people at all levels in a variety of situations • Ability to be flexible and proactive in contributing to the effective functioning of a team • Ability to work within the beliefs, mission, values and policies of UnitingCare and adhere to the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety and other relevant Legislation as they apply to the region’s services
