Volunteers must be reliable, accountable, trustworthy, and committed to the program. Able to take direction from office staff, receipt client fees, assist with mobility aids, and if required assist to carry client's groceries and other items into the car and their home. Volunteers are matched with a client, given a job statement, and provide the required support to the client. Volunteers use their own vehicle, which must be registered and have full comprehensive insurance for transporting clients. Reimbursement for travel is available. Volunteers are provided with an induction, and ongoing support from our team.
