Bookshop Volunteers
Braille House (Queensland Braille Writing Association)The primary role of Bookshop Volunteer is to assist with the day to day running of the bookshop, which includes selling books, receiving donations, customer service and general duties.
All profits go to producing and providing reading materials for people who are blind or have low vision.
Key Responsibilities . Book sales . Book inventory - incoming and outgoing . Ensuring shelves are neat and tidy . Hosting community groups . Other general duties as required
Qualifications and Experience . Previous bookshop or retail experience advantageous but not essential . Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) desirable . Be able to commit to set shifts
