Key responsibilities:

• coordinate visual content and layout in accordance with editorial objectives, policy and within deadlines
• source and select images
• liaise with printer
• supply files to printer
• receive, check and sign-off final proofs from the printer.
• additional design work as requested by the Marketing and Communications Manager

Skills and Experience:

• experience in design and layout using Adobe Creative Suite
• strong organisational and communication skills
• ability to prepare copy to pre-press
• ability to work to deadlines
• ability to work as part of a team.

Knowledge:

• good understanding of a magazine publication process is highly desirable
• good knowledge of ABA’s Design Style Guide and brand direction
• an understanding of copyright law.
