Better Hearing Australia Canberra is a small NFP charity supporting clients/families with a progressive hearing loss disability. Transition to a commercialised model entails a new focus on client and business relationships, contracting, various forms of partnerships and efficiency and governance.

The legal adviser will advise the Better Hearing Australia Canberra Chair, committee and business manager on matters related to corporate governance, structures, strategies, and operational processes and procedures in the management of the organisation.

In particular, the legal adviser will support the organisation in e-commerce, IP protection (publishing, copyright and licencing), arrangements for agreements and partnerships, sponsorship and fundraising, innovation in social impact fund raising, and NFP retailing and merchandise documentation.
