Ability Para-Badminton - Communications Support Person
Badminton VictoriaThe Communication Support Specialist will help communicate Ability's message by: • Initiating, implementing, and maintaining aspects of planned publicity campaigns, on-line social media presence and PR activities; • Advising and maintaining a Facebook presence, ensuring information is current, topical and engaging to ensure a ‘high’ connection with members; • Assisting with communication to members via the Messenger platform; • Developing, producing and releasing marketing materials much as event flyers, come-and-try invites and reports on club events; • Providing a monthly ‘dot point’ brief report of activities to Committee Chair for use in a report to Badminton Victoria.
The successful candidate should have a good understanding of social media platforms, simple graphics packages and creating simple marketing strategies.
