Position Purpose: SisterWorks supports women of refugee, migrant and asylum seeker background to improve their confidence, mental wellbeing and sense of community. We need someone who is energetic and friendly to help care for the children of the women involved in our craft programs. Role Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all children are safe and accounted for.
• Entertaining the children (e.g. reading, playing, drawing).
• Advising and informing staff or mothers of any issues (e.g. toileting and feeding).

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Experience in child care/managing young children

Compulsory requirements:

• Current Working with Children Check and/or Police Check (if you do not have one, you can apply for one free of cost)

This role is best suited to someone who is energetic, friendly and caring.
